The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, offering picturesque views of the surrounding area. Being able to relax at the swimming pool and hot tub was a great bonus, especially after a long day of exploring. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay.
The room we stayed in was not up to par. It had a modern feel, but lacked the elegant atmosphere found in the common spaces of the hotel.

Comfortable room equipment. Super breakfast from buffet and additional individual order for hot meals
Located away from the village, but interesting as a starting point for hikes. Placement for breakfast at round tables of 8, but this led to interesting conversations with us.

The hotel had a lovely setting in a picturesque location, which made for a delightful Christmas getaway. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a good range of choices that catered to different preferences. the view from the back of the hotel was absolutely stunning, especially with easy access to a private beach area.
There were a few areas where improvements could be made. the water pressure in the rooms was quite poor, with weak showers and toilets that barely flushed.

During our stay at Alltshellach, we were greeted by Andrew and Bridget, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was simply amazing. We had the opportunity to try the unique combination of porridge, creme fraiche, and raspberry jam, which was a gastronomic delight. The full cooked breakfast was also generous and succulent. The location was idyllic, with a beautiful garden leading down to Bishop's Bay and its yacht moorings. One morning, we were even treated to the sight of a baby deer running just a few meters away from us.
Although we had a fantastic experience overall, the water pressure in the shower could have been better, but this is just a minor detail in comparison to all the positives. Alltshellach is a truly pleasant hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel falls short in terms of its advertised star rating, not quite meeting the expectations set for a higher-end establishment.
